This church was built in 1828 and was capable of holding 300 people. It was simple in design, like a barn chapel, with the altar on a long wall opposite the entrance. There were many alterations over the years to accommodate the growing population. Extensive work was carried out in 2005.

Since it's original building the church has been added to over the years. It has an intricate reredos behind the altar depicting scenes from the Bible. Two stained glass windows next to the altar were donated by Francis Joseph Bigger in 1913. The most recent renovations have simplified the designs leaving the church with a modern atamosphere.
